Reminders about Regional Camp


The CYSA State Office will issue refund checks for any State pool players that do not attend the Regional Evaluation Camp. Players traveling to the Regional Evaluation Camp should remember the following notes reprinted from your State pool acceptance packet (Apr 4, 2002).

All players must bring a check payable to "Alaska Airlines" in the amount of $50. If your player should be held over for the Regional player pool, the cost to change the return airline ticket is $50 and must be paid to Alaska Airlines when the player boards the plane home. This check must be given to the Team Administrator at the airport upon leaving for camp. If your player is not held over and returns on the regular ticket, then your check will be returned to you. If your player does not provide the $50 check, your player will not be able to stay for the second week.

All players must bring a check payable to "Region IV - Girls ODP Camp" in the amount of $250. In addition to changing the plane ticket, if your player is held over for the Regional pool there is an additional cost of $250 for the second week of camp. If your player is selected, Region IV requires payment on the spot. This means that every player must bring a check to camp to be held by the Team Administrator in case your player is selected for the second week. If you need to pay by credit card, you must call the Region IV Office at (702) 258-8838.

Each player has been provided with a Camp Handbook in your equipment bag. Review the entire handbook with your parents and bring it with you to camp. (Parents may wish to copy the page with contact numbers before the handbook leaves for camp with your player.)

United players should read the section (page 13) pertinent to them.
